We are pleased to welcome American mandolinist and guitarist Hayes Griffin as our latest endorsee!
Specialising in bluegrass, Western swing, country, rock, and everything in between, Hayes has spent over a decade supporting acts like Canadian fiddler April Verch and progressive bluegrass outfit Newtown - #8 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts.
In 2020, Hayes released his first solo project, Midwestern Swing, which is a nod to the jazz-infused country sounds of the late 1940s and early 50s. When he’s not performing, Hayes is educating thousands of guitarists and mandolinists on his YouTube channel, where he made his mark in 2020 as one of the preeminent scholars of swing mandolinist Tiny Moore.
Hayes is proud to play an 'off the shelf' Belmuse 4 string Wildwood eMando with multi-laminate neck thru construction, English ash body wings with tummy tuck and arm contour, rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlayed fret markers & handcut bone nut, finished in satin nitro with single volume and tone controls and a pull/push coil tap to split the custom wound humbucking pickup with hardwood bobbin tops. You can see this beautiful axe at work on Hayes’ YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/hayesgriffin
