Commissioned by The Minstrel Rav'n, Indiana, USA this 21" scale length octave mandolin (or mandola) features a multi-laminate neck through centre section with english ash body wings & bookmatched spruce top with an ebony fingerboard. A handwound pickup sits in a faux soundhole and volume, tone & coil splitting controls sit in a recessed cavity on the upper bout.
